Ceramic Knives
As a perfect complement to your metal cutlery, ceramic cutlery is an excellent choice. Second in hardness only to diamonds, ceramic knives have superior edge retention, so you can get slices thin enough to see through. And because ceramic is chemically inert, it will not interact with the foods you are preparing so you avoid browning, and any metallic taste. Not meant to replace your steel knives, ceramic knives are best used for prep tasks such as slicing fruits and vegetables.
