The walls of these dishes, as in all Pillivuyt items, are exceptionally even and not too thick, so heat conduction is even and efficient, creating an evenly baked treat that will slide easily out of the mold when you are ready to serve it. The glaze protects the mold from any scratches and cleans up easily. Each piece of Pillivuyt porcelain fired at 2400 degrees Fahrenheit and follows the French tradition of fine porcelain, durable while cooking yet elegant enough for the table.
